An epiphyte, it has a monopodial growth habit and can grow up to 50cm tall.
Foliage The leaves are straped shaped and are arranged alternately along the stem. The leaf tip is bilobed.
Flowers The flowers are borne on racemes which bears up to 8 flowers. The flowers are fragrant and measure 6 to 7cm wide. The flower sepals and petals are yellow with brown spots and the flower column is white. The flower lip has a purple, large and concave midlobe, the margin is finely serrated.
